Lily’s flavours unite treasures from the forest, land and sea creating its unique cuisine.
Lily Lee is inspired by Taiwanese cuisine, which is a mash up of Hakka style cooking and Japanese delicate flavours, Hong Kong’s street kitchens and classical Cantonese methods. Diversity of the fundamental tastes – salty, sweet, sour and bitter and hot are the key elements in Lily’s kitchen. Our team has crafted modern and contemporary dishes using ancient recipes, traditional techniques and using only the finest ingredients available.
We believe that our dedication to craftsmanship, constant innovation and extensive research surprise and charm. Restaurants menu consist of much love classics, Lily’s dim sums and snacks, aromatic salads, grilled juicy meats, fresh seafood, tasty claypot dishes and mouthwatering desserts. All larger dishes are for sharing and served as ready from the kitchen family meal style.
PEOPLE
Lily Lee’s founders and owners Tomi Björck, Serko Rantanen, Ronny Malmberg, Mika Ranin and Minka Björck are all passionate and very skilled in the restaurant industry, who all have their own unique strengths. They have seen and experienced extensively together as well as separately. Founders routes joined forming a proficient and enthusiastic team.
RONNY MALMBERG
There was a natural path for Ronny to join the team of passionate entrepreneurs after coming back from a year long stay in Australia, working in hotel industry for an extended time and six years in BW-Restaurants. Ronny has won head waiter and waiter competitions and is still thrived to learn more continuously even after working for 16 years in the industry.
MIKA RANIN
Mika’s career started when he was only five years old as a ‘Kippo’ character voice actor in Beauty & Beast Disney Movie. Mika has worked as a chef in a variety of different type of kitchens around the world and has recently returned back to Finland from a five year long stay in Australia. Mika’s gentle character, uncompromising professionalism in kitchen and love towards modern Asian cooking joined his path with Lily’s founders.
SERKO RANTANEN
Serko is a passionate Head Chef originally from Turku. He has been Tomi’s trusted left hand for over a decade. Serko has wide spread knowledge in running profitable restaurants and he has travelled around the world seeking for new culinary experiences. Serko is dedicated to craftmanship and proudly uses his sharp knife preparing highest quality seafood for our guests.
TOMI BJÖRCK
One of Finland’s most known and cherished restaurateurs, who has lived around the world and opened restaurants in Finland, Sweden and Australia. Tomi is inspired by vivid food cultures and has researched the diverse Asian cuisines enormously in the last decade. Tomi enjoys the fact that he can create new and exciting experiences for Finnish people by enabling them to try dishes from his own favorite places around the world.

MINKA BJÖRCK
Lily Lee is Minka’s eight restaurant opening in the last decade. Minka used to work as a CFO in CB Restaurants in Australia and in the same position in BW-Restaurants in Finland. Her responsibility is to take care of financials as well as manage the front of house team. Minka has established well refined service processes as well as training ja reporting systems to her companies.
